The Asset 17 Feb 2017

iGBT, the global transaction banking division of Intellect Design Arena Ltd, has signed a deal with Al Rajhi Banking Corporation (Malaysia) (ARBM), in order to implement comprehensive digital capabilities for its corporate and retail banking services in Malaysia.

Set to begin later this month, the move will allow ARBM to reach new customers across Malaysia through online, mobile, and tablet banking applications, while the bank will continue to operate face-to-face with a mobile salesforce and pop-up branches.

Intellect will provide internet, mobile, and tablet banking capabilities for ARBM’s corporate and retail customers. The bank’s corporate clients will have access to fully digitized customer onboarding and cash management services, as well as advanced liquidity services such as sweeping, pooling, intercompany lending and overnight investment sweeping.

“This digital transformation will give our clients a new level of control over their banking activities. It not only enables them to manage their accounts regardless of location, but also gives them access to new and enhanced services,"  says STEVE Chen, ARBM chief executive officer.
