ROSS Teverson, head of strategy, emerging markets at Jupiter Asset Management, says there is increasing awareness on the E and S in ESG, particularly the environmental and social responsibility that underlie ESG principles.
At The Asset Investor Dialogue in London, Teverson says corporate governance has improved over the past two decades and the increasing proportion of companies paying a dividend is a clear sign that there is an alignment in goals between management and minority shareholders. Jupiter Asset has US$71.5 billion in assets under management.
