Lack of clarity, confidence hurting green finance
The Asset 1 Jun 2018

Aldo Romani, deputy head of funding for euro at the European Investment Bank (EIB), highlights the need for more clarity in green finance through the use of "instruments" that offer comparable measurements of environmental benefits and risks of green projects across all markets. EIB pioneered the green bonds market by issuing the world's first climate bond 10 years ago.

Romani was a panellist during the green finance session of the recent The Asset 12th Asian Bond Markets Summit in Shanghai.
