Standard Chartered makes senior wealth and private bank hires
Standard Chartered has appointed Harry Lai as market head GCNA (Greater China and North Asia). This follows hires last August of Michael Yong-Haron, formerly at RBC, and Alex Tse, formerly at Credit Suisse, as market heads for GCNA.

Standard Chartered has appointed Harry Lai as market head GCNA (Greater China and North Asia). This follows hires last August of Michael Yong-Haron, formerly at RBC, and Alex Tse, formerly at Credit Suisse, as market heads for GCNA.

In addition, the regional front office team has added 12 new senior relationship managers since October. The market heads will report to Vivian Chan, who has also been appointed regional head.

Recent appointments in the team include Barry Chan as regional head of investment advisory for GCNA, and Teddy Chu as regional head of trust and fiduciary services, GCNA.
