Deutsche Bank names head of Australia real estate team
Amit Sheshinski joins bank from Morgan Stanley where he covered and executed major transactions
The Asset 28 Jun 2021

Deutsche Bank  has announced that Amit Sheshinski will join its Australia origination and advisory team as the head of real estate coverage.

Sheshinski joins from Morgan Stanley, where he was most recently an executive director in the real estate team. In this role, he was instrumental in the coverage and execution of important transactions for major real estate clients, including Blackstone, Lendlease, Stockland, Oxford Properties and Scape.

“Sheshinski will bolster our real estate coverage, a sector of historical strength for Deutsche Bank both in Australia and globally,” says Hugh Macdonald, Deutsche Bank’s head of investment banking coverage and advisory for Australia. “With the number of major global real estate groups being active in Australia, this is a natural area for us to intensify our focus.”

Deutsche Bank’s origination and advisory business provides strategic advisory and financing solutions to corporates, financial institutions and sponsors, and sovereigns from around the world. The team leverages the bank’s international network to provide large-scale, bespoke solutions across both coverage areas and products.
