Private Client Services by Mercer (PCS), a provider of risk management propositions, has appointed Christina Wong as CEO for PCS Hong Kong, a role in which she will lead the sales team to secure new partnerships and cultivate strong relationships with existing private banking partners and carriers across North Asia.

Based in Hong Kong, Wong will report directly to PCS Group CEO Joseph Low.

With over 20 years of experience in the insurance and banking industry, Wong was most recently the head of third-party and private banking distribution at HSBC Life, where she was instrumental in the growth of its high-net-worth client segment and achieving wealth model synergies across the HSBC Group. Prior to this, she held similar leadership roles at Transamerica Life Bermuda, MetLife and Zurich International Life.

Wong’s extensive experience across multi-channel insurance sales, distribution, products, strategic planning and project execution will fuel PCS’ global growth ambition, Low says, allowing the company to “capture the strong demand among high-net-worth clients for greater insurance protection and wealth transference”.
