Trade credit insurer Allianz Trade in Asia Pacific has appointed James Lie as its regional head of e-commerce, effective April 1.
Lie, who will be stationed in Singapore, joined the company in 2018 as country manager for Indonesia. During his tenure, he has successfully developed the Indonesia portfolio and built up the company’s reputation and competitive advantage through partnerships with local businesses.
Prior to joining the company, he has accumulated over 15 years of experience in the trade credit insurance field.
“The potential of B2B e-commerce in Asia-Pacific is immense,” says Shan Aboo, regional commercial director at Allianz Trade in Asia Pacific. “With his demonstrated track record of delivering results, Lie will deliver these innovative solutions and make trade easier for businesses.”
