Standard Chartered has appointed Simon Kellaway as its regional head of securities services for Greater China and North Asia. Kellaway, who joined the bank on November 11, is a seasoned financial services professional with over 28 years of experience in the international banking industry.

He joins from Royal Bank of Canada Investor and Treasury Services where his most recent position was chief operating officer, Global Client Coverage and Global Client Operations. Prior to RBC, Kellaway held various senior management roles within prime finance, corporate banking and securities services for HSBC and JP Morgan.  

Kellaway is based in Hong Kong and reports to Margaret Harwood-Jones, global head of securities services and Ricky Kaura, regional head of transaction banking, East. He is a member of the Securities Services Management Team.
