BNP Paribas Wealth Management appoints investment services head
Gabriel Chan will oversee the delivery of the bank’s investment offering and advisory services across traditional and digital channels to clients in Hong Kong

BNP Paribas Wealth Management has appointed Gabriel Chan as head of investment services Hong Kong. Based in Hong Kong, Chan will report to Garth Bregman, head of investment services APAC, BNP Paribas Wealth Management, who is located in Singapore.

Chan will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of the bank’s investment offering and advisory services across traditional and digital channels to clients in Hong Kong. He will also drive the rollout of new initiatives across the region.

Bregman says, “The Asia Investment Services team has evolved into a pace-setter for the wealth management industry, thanks to the breadth and depth of our products and services and niche expertise in areas such as sustainable investing.”

“Gabriel has been a key architect of our award-winning advisory platform over the past two years and will apply his deep industry experience to enhance our capabilities across the board.”

Chan takes over from his predecessor Lemuel Lee, who was promoted to head of Hong Kong market, reporting to BNP Paribas Wealth Management head of Greater China markets Andy Chai.               

Chan brings over 16 years of experience in the wealth management industry to his role. He joined BNP Paribas Wealth Management in 2013, having previously worked at Credit Suisse and CLSA.
