Essensys, a global provider of software and technology to the flexible workspace industry, has appointed Eric Schaffer as chief executive officer for Asia-Pacific. Based in Hong Kong, he will spearhead the establishment of the firm’s APAC business.
Schaffer comes to essensys with over a decade of broad real estate expertise, having most recently served as the head of real estate advisory for APAC for WeWork.
Prior to WeWork, Schaffer co-founded Core Capital Asia, a boutique investment advisory firm focused on Chinese and North American property markets. He has also held senior leadership positions at multiple firms, including Cushman & Wakefield. In those roles he structured and led over US$2 billion of real estate transactions.
London-based essensys provides mission-critical SaaS platforms and on-demand cloud services to the high-growth flexible workspace industry. Its software is specifically designed and developed to help solve the complex operational challenges faced by multi-site flexible workspace operators as they grow and scale their operations.
