Allianz has appointed Julia Zheng Kuik as head of corporate development, Asia-Pacific.

In this capacity, Kuik will have lead responsibility for Allianz’s business development agenda in the group’s growth region, with a focus on M&A, joint ventures, and new partnerships.

Kuik will oversee the team of internal and external resources focused on the end-to-end management of M&A-related activities, as well as broadening Allianz’s communications with the regional business and investment community. She will report to regional CEO George Sartorel, and will join the company’s executive board.

Kuik has over 12 years of experience in M&A execution, most recently serving as head of business development, Asia, for Insurance Australia Group.
