HSBC Securities Services announced it has hired Steven McCullough as its new Head of Asset Owners & Managers Business Development & Client Management, Asia Pacific, effective 27 March.
In a memo to staff, Sebastien Danloy, Global Head of Asset Owners & Managers, Securities Services at HSBC, says McCullough will have an important role in driving the Asset Owners & Managers (AO&M) strategy in the region.
McCullough joins HSBC from Citibank, where he was Managing Director, Client Executive and Account Management, Asia Pacific for Custody and Fund Services, leading a regional team covering clients in the Asset Managers, Insurance, Pension, Banks Sovereign/Public Sector segments across 12 locations. Prior to that, he spent over 25 years at JP Morgan Chase where he held a number of senior client service and implementation positions in their markets, securities and investor services areas.
McCullough will be based in Hong Kong and report to Brian Godins, Regional Head of Securities Services, Asia Pacific locally, and to Danloy on a functional basis. He will become a member of the Securities Services Asia Pacific Executive Committee and Asset Owners & Managers Management Committee.
